President Johnson's picture is on the masthead of the Johnson City Record Courier. We have here a Lady Bird Cafe, LBJ's Boyhood Home, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, and other things LBJ.
In another month my prostate problem will have been remedied with a minimally intrusive laser procedure. I will return to my apartment in Blanco, Texas. Meanwhile, I have been amazed at the adaptability of residents living here. And the professionalism of staff. It didn't seem that way at first, and I'm grateful for my capacity for compassion and understanding in adjusting to being here.
