About this site's domain name, lazytune. Domain names have ownership and are for sale for amounts sometimes in the thousands of dollars. Not for me. I casually learned from a young woman who visits her mother here at the nursing home that she has a website. She is a free-spirited gal who sells peaches alongside the road. I asked her, "How did you get your domain?" And, "Where is your server?" She explained she had gotten both from porkbun.com. I wanted to be sure I had heard correctly. "What was that again?" I asked. "I'll write it down for you," she said, adding, "It's not expensive."
Porkbun? What could go wrong? Creating an account went smoothly. I needed a domain name. Determined to not haggle with domain brokers, why not a simple, silly name not likely taken? The name did't matter. So I concatenated the first silly verb-noun pair that came to mind: lazy and tune.
